~Student Worker Needed~
The UT Law Library Serials and Acquisitions Department is in need of a student
worker. The position is available immediately. Duties include, but are not
limited to, a wide variety of general library work such as: filing looseleaf
updates to law materials; replacing superseded volumes and cumulative
supplements; inventorying and recording gift materials received; searching the
online catalog; general copying, filing, and office work; checking in and filing
microfiche; counting, sorting, and opening daily mail; and other duties as
assigned.
The student worker must be available to work 10 hours per week between the
hours of 8 am and 5 pm, Monday-Friday for a minimum of 2 hours at a time.
Hours can be worked around your class schedule. No evening or weekend
hours are available in this department. The Law Library is open year-round, so
students should be available to work during winter, spring, and summer breaks.
Students applying for this position should be detail-oriented, self-motivated,
and conscientious. Work performed in this department is extremely detailed
and must be performed with concentration and commitment to quality.
Pay rate is $7.25/hr.
