Dear Math Majors,
This is the annual call for volunteers to be on the Dean's Student
Advisory Council. We need two students, at least one of whom will not be a
senior next year. We generally have a grave shortage of volunteers, so
please offer to participate if you are at all interested. We need to know
by April 16. If you are interested, contact our department head, Dr.
Frazier [log in to unmask] If you are a current DSAC member and want to
continue next year, then let him know. The DSAC is the interface between
students and the dean, and having student representatives is very
important, so please consider volunteering.

Conrad and Chuck,
Hi, here's more detail on the DSAC. I need names by April 16. Ideally,
we should have 2, with at most one who will be a senior next year, so that
the other can continue for a second year on the DSAC the following year.
Thank you,
-Mike

Department Heads,
As discussed in the last department heads' meeting, it is time for you
to select representatives from your department for DSAC. I have
attached the document that Drew Webb distributed at the meeting which
describes DSAC, what DSAC members will be involved in doing, and the
criteria for you to use in selecting your representatives. In addition,
we have attached a letter from Drew that we ask you to give to the
members you select. This letter briefly describes the organization and
the commitment involved and invites them to DSAC's final meeting of the
year.
I have attached a chart which shows who will be returning to DSAC and
how many vacancies your department needs to fill. In order to be able
to invite your new DSAC representatives to our final meeting, we ask
that you send the names of your representatives to Stefanie Bowen,
[log in to unmask], no later than April 16th.
Please let me know if you have any questions, and thank you so much for
your assistance with this.
