The iSchool at Drexel Celebrates National Library Week
The iSchool at Drexel, College of Information Science and Technology, is observing National Library Week, April 11-17, 2010, with a series of events.
On Monday, April 12, the College is kicking off National Library Week with a Happy Hour where
iSchool students, faculty and alumni are invited to come out and meet the iSchool's Alumni Association board members and catch up with fellow classmates.
The Rush@Hagerty event on Tuesday, April 13, features a Professional Association Fair with representatives of IT and library professional associations and Speed Resume Critique Sessions.
Several iSchool doctoral students will be presenting their library-focused posters at Drexel University's Research Day 2010 on Thursday, April 15.
The week's activities conclude with a trip to The New York Public Library and The Morgan Library co-sponsored by the Drexel Student Chapter of ALA (SCALA) and the Drexel University Chapter of Special Libraries Association (DUSLA).
