In addition to the students presenting at the JC today, there are upcoming
presentations by three math majors and one College Scholars/Chemistry/Math
Major: Kathryn Dabbs, Shande King, Chelsea Plaut, and Britta Johnson.
These students will be presenting research at the University's Honors
Symposium on Monday, March 22. The presentations are at the Howard Baker
Center, Room 204-205 (just up the hill along Cumberland from Aconda) and
are open to the public. Britta's talk (which is about work in Chemistry)
is in the 9:05-9:55 time slot, and the other three are presenting
1:25-2:15. Going to student presentations is always a nice way to show
your support for your fellow students, and learn some new stuff. Math
Honors students can use either of these two sessions as one event in the
"talks" requirement. See
