Dr. Cheryl Kaiser’s Psychology Research Lab at the University of Washington is
currently recruiting participants for an hour long study examining factors that
contribute to gaining admission to graduate school. If you would like to be
eligible for this study, please go to
https://catalysttools.washington.edu/webq/survey/kspaldin/95912 and
complete a short survey (this will take about 3 minutes to complete).
Everyone who completes the survey will be eligible for one of four $50
Electronic Gift Cards for Amazon.com in a lottery*. The raffle is financially
supported by Dr. Kaiser’s National Science Foundation Grant (grant # BCS-
0749159). The approximate odds of winning the raffle are 1 in 125. Each
participant has an equal opportunity for winning. The drawing will be held
when subject recruitment for this study is complete (the end of spring quarter
of the current academic year). The raffle will be held in Guthrie Hall, under the
supervision of Dr. Kaiser at the end of spring quarter of the current academic
year. The winner will be notified via e-mail. If you withdraw from the study
early, you will still be eligible for the raffle.
Approximately 300 graduate students who complete these surveys will be
contacted by the research team and will be eligible to participate in an hour-
long online study on graduate admissions, in which they will receive a $20
Amazon Gift Card for their participation.
