--- This week is "Support for Haiti Week" on campus, an effort to support the people of Haiti through financial donations and cultural awareness. The events for the week are as follows:
 
Tonight at 7 p.m. in 253 Hodges Library: Screening of the documentary film "Egalite of All: Toussaint Louveture and the Haitian Revolution," which chronicles the history of the country.

Tuesday, Feb. 23, at 7 p.m. in the University Center auditorium: Support for Haiti benefit concert featuring various acts from around campus. There will be a candlelight vigil directly following the concert to honor the victims of the Haitian earthquake.

Wednesday, Feb. 24, at 7 p.m. in 223-224 University Center: Haitian Culture Night, a night to learn about the culture and customs of the people of Haiti, featuring various guests and activities.

Donations for Haiti victims will be taken at each event.

All donations will be donated on behalf of The University of Tennessee to The American Red Cross.

Sponsors are: SGA, Minority Student Affairs, TeamVOLS.

--- The UT Outdoor Program presents the All Access Weekend Outdoor Festival, Feb. 26-28, including the Telluride Mountain Film Festival, Crankin' at the Obed Service Day, and Crankin' for Access Bouldering Competition. The film festival will be held Friday, Feb. 26, from 7 to 10 p.m. in the University Center Auditorium and is free for students, faculty and staff, $10 for the public. Crankin' at the Obed Service Day will be held Saturday, Feb. 27, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Meet at the Outdoor Center in TRECS 20. Free and open to the public. Participants will do trail work for half the day and then climb for the second half. The Bouldering Competition will be held Sunday, Feb. 28, from 1 to 7 p.m. at the VOL Wall in HPER court B. $15 to enter (all proceeds go to the Access Fund). Questions? --- UniTe and UT Men's Athletics will host an all-night camp-out inside Thompson-Boiling Arena this Friday, Feb. 26, for tickets to Saturday morning's Tennessee vs. Kentucky game. Students who come to the camp-out will receive a wrist band gaining them early admission.
At 7 p.m. Friday, students will form a line outside the student gate and will be allowed to enter the arena at 9:30 p.m. At 11 p.m., the gates will be locked and no one will be allowed to enter the arena. Students with university commuter tags may park in G5 or G3 overnight. However, all cars must be moved before 7 a.m. or they will be towed. Students will leave the arena at 6 a.m. and must be back in line outside the arena by 8 a.m. The gates will open at 10:30 a.m. Due to the limited amount of concourse space the first 500 UT students will be the only ones allowed to camp out. --- The Spring Job Fair is 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 2, in Thompson-Boling Arena. The Diversity Job Fair will be held the same day from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Ray Mears Room of Thompson-Boling Arena. Both events are open to all students. This is a great opportunity for any student graduating this May or August and starting their job search as well as for students interested in internships.

--- Election reform will be the focus of a one-day conference to be held March 5 at the Baker Center. The conference, to be moderated by Edye Ellis, former broadcast news anchor for WBIR-TV Channel 10, will be held at 9 a.m. in the Toyota Auditorium of the Baker Center. Free and open to the public, the program is a joint effort of the Baker Center, the College of Law, the Department of Political Science and the American Studies Program.

--- Are you looking for a way to get more involved on campus? Are you proud of UT and want to share your love of UT with others? The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is currently accepting applications for the position of Admissions Student Recruiter for the 2010-2011 school year. The Student Recruiter Program is the combination of the former Ambassador Scholars, ME4UT and Orange Pride. These groups are being brought together to encourage cross-training, recruitment and interviewing. If you are interested in learning more about these programs, come to an information session. Sessions will be held tonight and Wednesday, Feb. 22, at 7 p.m. in Hodges Library auditorium. --- Faculty, staff and students who have dreamed of starting their own businesses are invited to attend Vol Court 2010, a series of free how-to seminars led by experts from across the state. The one-hour seminars will be held on Tuesdays in February and March. Tomorrow's seminar is at 5 p.m. in the Stokely Management Center seventh floor meeting space. --- Peace Corps agricultural info session, 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, in Pendergrass Library on the agriculture campus. Help farmers market their products. Develop alternatives to wood as a fuel source. Start a recycling program. Promote environmentally friendly farming practices. If you have experience in gardening, landscaping or environmental education or a degree in agriculture, environmental science, forestry, or agribusiness, you may be able to help the Peace Corps. --- The application deadline for Mortar Board has been extended to Friday, Feb. 26. Mortar Board is the premier national honor society recognizing college seniors for superior achievement in scholarship, leadership and service. Mortar Board members are not only recognized as the top scholars and leaders on their campuses, but are presented with the unique opportunity to join a diverse group of students from vastly different disciplines and interests in this great Society. Ready for the World Events

--- The Great Decisions Program, coordinated by the Center for International Education and funded by the Ready for the World initiative, will bring five speakers from around the country to UT Knoxville this semester to address our nation's most pressing foreign policy issues. The series will kick off tomorrow night at 7 p.m. in the I-House Great Room with Dean Baker, co-director of the Center for Economic and Policy Research in Washington, D.C., speaking about "The Global Financial Crisis."
