Licensed Clinical Therapist
Summary
Ensures that crisis therapeutic interventions are provided to children and
adolescents and/or families in a caring, competent, responsible way. Assists
in the development of treatment plans, therapeutic interventions for each
child/adolescent. Maintains clinical documentation.
Education/Certification
Master’s or Doctorate degree in Human Service discipline. Three to five years
experience working with various ages in a residential treatment setting.
Licensure/Certification
Licensed Independent Practitioner in mental health field for the state of
Tennessee
Skills/Abilities
Crisis Intervention training, flexibility, excellent organizational skills, ability to
manage paper, an even temperament, ability to communicate clearly,
therapeutic knowledge of various DSM – IV diagnosis, good under pressure in
an emotional environment.
