Now that we've gotten our V Award packets submitted, its time to think
about who we as a Chapter should honor at this year's Awards
celebration. Every year, we have the opportunity to celebrate three of
our own members and two individuals or organizations outside of our
group who we believe make positive contributions to public relations.
Following are the brief description of each of the five categories and
the awardees in each category since 2005. We are adding a fuller
historical listing of our Individual Award winners to the chapter
website in the next week and will let you know when that is available.

1. Community Service Award
For an individual or organization outside the public relations profession
that has used public relations practices to improve the quality of life
within East Tennessee communities
