Have you considered the fact that your library is full of patrons with
iPhones? These can connect to Wi-fi very easily.
Also, the standard behavior for a DHCP device (such as a laptop) when its
lease expires is to simply renew it.
Finally, 12 slots seems appropriate for a coffee shop, not an entire
library. Am I missing something?
