Greetings Golden Key Members,
I hope everyone had an enjoyable winter break and a successful transition
into the spring semester despite last night's fiasco. There are several we
plan on doing this semester with our chapter of Golden Key. Some of these
include reading to elementary school children, raising money for education
in third world countries, and competing with other chapters across the state
and region. More of this will be addressed at our next meeting, which is
scheduled for January 27 from 7:00-8:00 PM at the UC in room 220.
First and foremost on our agenda is the election of a new interim vice
president. Our current vice president Kendell Sinks is studying abroad, so
we need someone to fill her spot for the spring semester while she is gone.
If you are interested in the position, please email me at [log in to unmask] so
that I can put you on the ballot. I would encourage you to give a 2-3 minute
speech about yourself and how you plan to contribute to the society.
That is all I have for now. I hope everyone has a great semester and I look
forward to seeing you all at our next meeting.
Sincerely,
Michael Ballew
