From the International Association of Business Communicators: Inside the
Mind of Management: Who Are They, Where Do They Come From, What Do They
Want, What Are They Trying to Accomplish?
Join us at 7:15 a.m. on Thursday morning, July 16th in West Knoxville,
for our second in this series of three webinars we are presenting this
summer for professional development in lieu of lunchtime meetings. The
webinar viewings are being offered free of charge.
Presented by James E. Lukaszewski, ABC, APR, Fellow PRSA, CCEP: Savvy
executives know that marshaling communications power is every bit as
important as having a solid business strategy or winning product. But
how do we gain a sufficient level of their attention to have impact? It
should be easier in the current business climate but, in reality, it may
be even tougher. Do you know why?
Why does top management often rely more heavily on outside advice,
especially during troubled times, than the advice offered by those who
work for them every day? Are there patterns of failure or success we
should know about and anticipate to help our manager achieve his/her
business objectives?

looks for from those who advise.
