Coordinator for Library Instruction and Information Literacy: oversee,
participate in, and evaluate extensive information literacy programs,
both general and subject specific. Current programs annually reach
16,253 students in 792 sessions. A full-time, 12-month, tenure-track
position reports to Associate Dean for Public Services.
Qualifications: ALA-accredited Masters required; strong service
orientation; commitment to working in a collegial, participative
environment; appropriate academic library experience; exceptional
potential for leadership. Second advanced degree strongly preferred at
time of appointment, required for tenure or promotion. Previous
attendance at ACRL's Institute for Information Literacy Immersion
program desired.
Salary and Benefits: $63,000. Salary negotiable depending on education

Preferred Beginning Date: July 1, 2009
