Start your own blog, learn the care and feeding of New York agents, and
write nonfiction that magazines and newspapers are looking for! All these
skills and more are on tap at the tenth annual Knoxville Writers’ Guild
Summer Workshops.
Thirteen regionally and nationally known writers will teach evening
classes from Monday, July 7 to Thursday, July 24 at Pellissippi State
Technical and Community College. You can learn a new skill, sharpen one
you already have, or meet with like-minded people to discuss tips, tricks,
and triumphs in writing.
The classes are offered jointly by the Knoxville Writers’ Guild and
Pellissippi State Technical Community College. All classes except one will
be held at the Hardin Valley campus.
To register, join KWG, or get detailed class schedules, visit

example, a one-session, two-hour class costs $20 for members and $28 for
