Communications and Community Relations Coordinator
UT Knoxville Facilities Services
Pay Grade 39, DOE&Q
The Communications and Community Relations Coordinator is responsible
for effectively managing the communication interactions between the
Facilities Services Department and all members of the University and
local community. Interactions will include, but not be limited to,
communicating the goals, capacities, motivation and resources of the
Facilities Services Department. The Communication and Community
Relations Coordinator is also responsible for managing effective
internal communications and working closely with other campus
communicators to effectively disseminate departmental messages.
Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in a related field, one to
two years of relevant experience. Demonstrated ability to work with a
diverse workforce. Demonstrated effectiveness in oral and written
communication skills. Ability to acquire an understanding of all facets
of Facilities Services operations. Ability to help motivate personnel to
achieve optimum performance levels.
