Subject: March 6 FOI Workshop/UT/Knoxville
Hello:
Some of you might already know about this free March 6
freedom-of-information workshop at the University of Tennessee in
Knoxville.
If so, I apologize.
But if you don't, the attached press release contains more information.
The
7 p.m. workshop will feature a lawmaker, an open government expert and
two
journalists.
It is sponsored by the East Tennessee Society of Professional
Journalists,
the Howard H. Baker Jr. Center for Public Policy, and the UT School of
Journalism and Electronic Media.
This is your chance to learn what records and meetings are open to the
public under Tennessee law, and what to do if you are denied access.
Let me know if you have any questions or are interested in attending.
Thank you,
John Huotari
