The Dalhousie School of Information Management (SIM) invites
applications for a
tenure-track appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor
level(dependent upon qualifications and experience) commencing July 1,

addition to the academic appointment, this is a leadership position as

mid-career,cost-recovery program designed for the public and private
sectors.

The School currently offers the ALA-accredited degree, Master of Library
and
Information Studies, four combined graduate degrees (with law, business
administration, public administration and environmental management), and
contributes to the interdisciplinary Bachelor of Management degree with
the
other schools in the Faculty of Management (Business Administration,

the School supports Dalhousie's Interdisciplinary PhD program. The
Faculty of
Management has a unique commitment to values-based management and

online
environment. Experience teaching at the undergraduate level will be an
asset

new
initiatives

* Professional experience in the public or private sector will be an
asset as
SIM is a professional school

SIM provides a dynamic and collegial environment. Information about the
School
may be found at sim.management.dal.ca The School's strategic goals, in
addition to the new MIM, include contribution to a Knowledge Management

research and teaching areas are of special interest to the School:
