Position: Manager, Employee Communications
Facility: Facility Support Center, Nashville, TN
Summary: The Manager, Employee Communications is responsible for developing and leading the implementation of employee communications plans to support major business objectives. Considers the company's communication needs and partners with the business to coordinate and deliver informative messages to all employees.
Writes and serves as editor for internal publications including employee and client newsletters, presentation materials, and speeches. Manages the preparation of project schedules, production specifications, estimates, and project status updates. Reviews quality and approves print samples as well as all final products. Reports to VP, Marketing and Communications, and works closely with Human Resources dept.
Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field and two years of relevant experience is required. Must possess prior experience with communications in a corporate environment. Requires excellent writing and editorial abilities. Must be able to interact with all internal clients including senior management. A valid driver's license is required.
Position: Manager, Community Relations
Facility: Facility Support Center, Nashville, TN
Summary: The Manager, Community Relations is responsible for planning and implementing grassroots advocacy promotions and events that are designed to increase publicity for the organization and its services. Prepares and disseminates publicity and goodwill information concerning the organization through newspapers,periodicals, and audio and visual communications media. Accomplished assigned duties through written communications, speeches, and personal contact to community and political leaders. Works with both existing CCA facilities and potential facility locations to deliver outreach and to form and maintain positive public relations. Reports to VP, Marketing and Communications and works closely with customer relations team.
Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in public relations or related field and two years of relevant experience is required. Must possess prior experience with public speaking. Previous political campaign experience is desirable. Requires excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Must be able to interact with external clients including local community and political contacts. Must be willing to travel up to 60%. A valid driver's license is required.
