Business & Economics Reference & Instruction Librarian --
Portland State University -- Oregon
Library: Portland State University Library, Business and Economics
Reference and Instruction Librarian. Portland State University is seeking
a progressive and energetic professional for the position of Business and
Economics Reference and Instruction Librarian, a full-time, 12-month,
tenure-track position with the rank of Assistant Professor. This position
provides reference and information services, teaches a for-credit course in
Basic Library Skills, participates in a dynamic instructional program, and
selects information resources to support instructional and research needs.
Required Qualifications: An ALA-accredited MLS or its equivalent; 2
years of experience as a business reference librarian; business and
economics collection development experience, working knowledge of digital
and Web-related technologies to enhance library services; and experience
integrating information literacy concepts into teaching. Deadlines:
