Reference Coordinator/Instruction Librarian -- Southern New Hampshire
University -- New Hampshire
Southern New Hampshire University seeks an enthusiastic, team-oriented
librarian to provide reference services face-to-face and electronically;
instruct and develop information literacy based library classes;
coordinate reference desk coverage and library-based instructional
services for students and faculty; act as a faculty liaison; participate
in library, university and professional committees.
This faculty position offers excellent opportunities for professional
development, participation in campus-wide learning partnerships, and a
climate of support for exploring innovative solutions that enhance student
learning, faculty research, and community outreach.
Qualifications: Master's degree in Library Science from an
ALA-accredited institution; excellent oral and written communication
skills with demonstrated ability to work collegially; and effective
current computer skills required. Ability to work with a diverse student
population is essential. 3 years professional library experience
providing reference and bibliographic instruction in an academic library
preferred. Knowledge of business reference sources desired.
