Research Librarian for History -- University of California at Irvine --

RESEARCH LIBRARIAN FOR HISTORY
The University of California, Irvine, Libraries seek a Research
Librarian
for History to join an enthusiastic staff in building a research library
of excellence for a young and rapidly growing university ranked
nationally
in the top universities. The Research Librarian for History will plan
and
deliver innovative reference and instruction services and develop and
manage electronic and print collections in history.The successful
candidate for this position will be based in the Langson Library
Reference
Department and jointly supervised by the Head, Langson Library Reference
Department and the Head, Collection Development Department.The salary
will
be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Preferred
appointment
level is $40,008-$66,756 (Assistant Librarian I - Librarian I).

experience
including qualified early career librarians.The UCI Libraries,

the Langson Library, the Science Library and the Grunigen Medical
Library,

volumes and over 53,000 current serial titles and an aggressively
expanding electronic resources collection. The University of California,
