Hello GK members!

I hope everyone had a wonderful spring break and are enjoying the last half of
the semester as much as possible. There are a few important things going on
with Golden Key this month, the first of which will be our information session
on Monday, April 10 from 5:30-6:30pm in the Conference Room at the
International House. The other officers and I realize there are many of you
who are not aware of the wonderful benefits Golden Key has to offer. As
members, we get useful discounts from places such as hotels.com, GEICO Auto
Insurance and many study abroad opportunities. Also, Golden Key offers
numerous scholarships through headquarters and its corporate partners totaling
over $400,000 annually. VERY FEW PEOPLE APPLY FOR THESE SCHOLARSHIPS. Your
chances of getting a scholarship are VERY good (especially if you are an
officer).

We would like to share all these amazing opportunities Golden Key has to offer
on Monday. We will also be going over officer positions which will be
available next year. This year's group of officers had a great time serving
you, and we learned a lot at the regional leadership conference about how to
improve for next year. Holding an officer position has benefited me in so many
ways, not to mention it has definitly been a staple in my resume. I encourage
all of you to consider a position next year. I have attached a list of some
possible officer positions, so if you are interested but cannot attend on
Monday, email me with your interested position and we can talk more about it.
