Executive Director
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tennessee Valley is seeking an Executive Director
to lead the agency’s program growth, funding strategies, and partnership
development. BBBS is an affiliate of the nation’s largest mentoring
organization. Skill set required includes: board development, staff
leadership and development, fund development, strategic planning, program and
operations management, and
partnership/community leadership.
Qualifications:
· Proven track record of effectively leading innovative change in a
performance-driven organization
· Proven track record of successfully managing and growing a
geographically dispersed organization
· Proven track record in fundraising
· Effective oral and written communication skills
· Marketing and public relations experience desired
· Experience in building relationships with external stakeholders to
include donors, corporate partners, policy makers, and community leaders.
· Experience in developing clear, performance-related work plans
· Experience in managing a professional team and should have an
inclusive leadership style
· Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, an advanced degree is preferred.
