Hey everyone, it's that time again! Time to elect new OFFICERS! The new
officers will need to attend the Officer Transition on Sat, Apr 16 from 2pm to
6pm in UC 221.

The election meeting will be held Tues, Mar 8 at 7pm in the Black Cultural
Center room 216. We encourage
all members to come as this is a time to generate ideas for next year as well
as elect officers. Seniors, come and give your feedback too... what did you
want to see that we didn't do? What did we do well? What would you like us to
emphasize more in the future? Are there organizations (campus or community)
that you would like to see us partner with?

There will be a door prize. Honor Cords, stoles and t-shirts will be available
for purchase. Come get inVOLved and make this YOUR Golden Key!

If you would like to run for an office, please fill out the attached
application and email me, Jennifer LeBlanc Gridley, at [log in to unmask] DO
NOT hit reply. If you will not be able to attend the meeting, but would like
to be considered for an office, send me the completed application and a
statement that you would like for me to read on your behalf. (People have been
elected from those statements before, ya know.)

The Austin East project is in full swing! I desperately need a committee to
help me put the program together. We are partnering up with Alpha Kappa Alpha
to put together and present the program (hopefully) April 4th. Please e-mail
me if you are interested ([log in to unmask]). If you e-mailed me last semester to
let me know you were interested please e-mail me again so I can verify that
you still want to help. Thanks in advance for your dedication to this project,
if it is successful it will impact the lives of the students at Austin East
High School.
