RESPONSIBILITIES: Reporting to the Director of Alumni Relations, responsible
for implementing and coordinating major alumni events to include Homecoming.
Organize and coordinate all alumni reunion programs such as the Golden Raider
Reunion Program, Silver Raider Reunion Program, and other reunions for
cheerleaders and departments on campus. The assistant director will help
coordinate the Alumni Travel Program. As part of a team, the assistant
director will support and assist all programs and activities of the Alumni
Relations Office and perform special projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelor’s degree is required. One year of related work
experience in higher education, event management, or alumni programming
required. Experience working with volunteer’s and/or volunteer boards
preferred. Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication and
motivational experience required. Able to multitask and work with diverse
populations. Availability to work evenings, weekends and out of town travel
required.
SALARY RANGE: $36,482 - $44,508 Commensurate with experience.
