Communication Associate - Atlanta
POSITION DESCRIPTION
A global professional services firm that helps organizations around the
world optimize performance through effective people, risk and financial
management is seeking a Communication Associate to join its Atlanta office
within our Change Implementation line of business. Associates help to
develop communication strategies and implement changes in blue chip client
organizations relating to people programs, culture, organizational
processes, structures and technology. Associates will be exposed to a
broad range of industries, clients and business issues that will enhance
their business acumen and build valuable problem solving and project
management consulting skills. The practice offers a combination of
challenging client assignments, visionary projects and the opportunity to
work as part of a team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Communication Associates within the Change Implementation line of business
work to effectively implement change through strategic communication
plans. Changes range from small programmatic change, to large-scale
organizational change. The Communication Associate will be responsible for
the effective management and measurement of a broad range of HR
communication projects and objectives. Specific responsibilities include:
· Developing and implementing custom communication strategies around
human resource and benefit changes
· Creating and/or editing communication materials for multiple
audiences for electronic, print and face-to-face channels
· Assisting in the development of media and technology strategy
· Developing new business proposals and presentations
· Assisting and/or leading focus groups
· Facilitating client meetings
· Contributing to special projects
REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelors and/or Masters in Corporate Communications, Journalism
or a related discipline
· One to two years work experience in communications, though we will
consider strong candidates straight from college
· Outstanding written and oral, interpersonal and team, and
analytical skills
· The clear potential and desire to lead teams and manage complex
client relationships within 2-3 years
· Self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced, unstructured and
evolving business environment
· Solid web skills and experience designing and/or writing for the
web is strongly preferred
· Benefits communication and/or human resource consulting experience
would be a plus
