MARKETING COORDINATOR/MANAGER -- University Outreach and Continuing Education
-- $35,000 - $47,000 -- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public
Relations, or other relevant field with a minimum of 5 years related job
experience required. Master’s Degree or accreditation for the practice of
public relations preferred. Assist staff of the Division of University
Outreach, with the development, coordination, and implementation of all
marketing, public relations, public information, and media relations programs.
This position will manage the marketing staff, budget, and work projects of
the Marketing Services Group. Responsible for cost-effective production of
marketing projects, maintaining quality effectiveness in meeting
communications/marketing objectives. Ability to provide leadership in
planning, developing, and directing marketing communications and advertising
programs. Ability to lead market analysis and exhibit understanding of web
marketing tools and current electronic marketing trends. Excellent
multi-tasking, strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
required. Must have strong organizational skills and effective
negotiating/creative problem-solving skills.
