Business TN is hoping to make its first Fast50 list a successful one.
Many of you may already be aware of this opportunity, but I wanted to
pass along the following release from the magazine. Please note that
this is a statewide competition. Best of luck!
Inaugural Business Tennessee Fast50 to Recognize State's Fastest-Growing
Companies
Nominations being accepted from private businesses across the state
NASHVILLE, August 24, 2004 - Nominations are being accepted for the
inaugural Business Tennessee Fast50, an annual feature identifying the
fastest-growing, private companies headquartered in Tennessee.
Businesses selected as Fast50 companies will be listed and profiled in
the December issue of Business Tennessee magazine.
The Fast50 feature is intended to recognize Tennessee's businesses of
the future. Nominees will be judged on their recent revenue-growth. To
be considered, Fast50 nominees must have been in business for at least
three years, generate more than $750,000 of revenue, employ five or more
people, be independent and privately owned (not publicly traded or a
subsidiary) and be headquartered in Tennessee.
There are no fees to participate, and your nomination information will
be reviewed confidentially by KraftCPAs, an independent accounting firm
with offices in Nashville, Columbia and Lebanon. KraftCPAs will tabulate
the results.
"We are excited about discovering which of Tennessee's companies are the
fastest-growing," David A. Fox, editor of Business Tennessee, said. "As
the only independent statewide business magazine, Business Tennessee is
uniquely positioned to recognize those companies destined to lead
Tennessee's business community in years to come."
To participate in the Fast50 process, companies should visit
www.businesstn.com <http://www.businesstn.com/> for nomination
instructions. The nomination process is brief. No fees are required.
Nominations must be received by October 7, 2004.
Business Tennessee is a monthly magazine providing business intelligence
for Tennesseans. It connects businesses with more than 40,000 of the
state's top decision-makers in business, politics, government and civic
affairs.
