Hey Holly~
Here's the minutes for last meeting, Thanks!

Here’s some of what we discussed in Wednesdays Golden Key Meeting:
First a big Thank You to all those who came out to the Boys and Girls Club,
you guys are awesome!
We had guest speaker Sarah Surak, the recycling coordinator at UT, come and
talk today. She will also be speaking at induction on November 10. She needs
volunteers to help her out with America Recycles Day on November 15. For more
information on this, e-mail her at [log in to unmask]
Fantasy of Trees is coming up and we need you guys to help us decorate. We
have decided on a Twelve Days of Christmas theme with a Golden Key twist to
it. Start coming up with some creative ideas and bring them to meeting.
Induction is less than two weeks away. This is going to be a really great
time and is open for all members and inductees to attend. We will be
collecting children’s books there to donate to centers that lack such
resources, this is a great opportunity to donate some of those old books just
sitting around in storage. This will be held at the University Club with free
food, entertainment, and a pay bar, so clear out your calendars for November
10. If you would like to help us out with induction please e-mail Lee West,

Green School Tutoring is still going on and it’s not too late to join in on
the fun! To get details on carpooling, directions, etc. e-mail David Deane

We are still collecting pop tops. We are trying to get the more campus
involved in this mission, so start collecting those pop tops and find a way to
get them to meeting.
The Health Fair clinic is October 30th at the UC. There will be free oral HIV
testing. From 6-8PM in room 225 there will be a breast cancer survivor
speaker.
