Marketing Intern for Knoxville Opera- 15-20 hours per week. Unpaid. Seeking
undergraduate student with an interest in the marketing, public relations
and advertising. We are seeking 3.0 grade point average or higher. Must have
good communication skills and be able to interact comfortably with ticket
buyers, donors and board of directors. Should posses some knowledge or the
willingness to learn Adobe Photoshop, Quark XPress, and Access Database.
This position reports to Director or Marketing and Public Relations, Carl
Thompson. By the end of the internship, the student will have a working
knowledge of how marketing and public relations influences
revenue-generating projects at an art/ entertainment organization.
