For those of you who couldn't attend the meetings this week, here is what
we discussed:


¨ Write a CONCEPTS Article - So, now Golden Key membership is on your
resume... want to add something underneath? How about being PUBLISHED in
our international magazine, CONCEPTS!?!  We'd love to hear what you have to
say. I've set aside space in the next newsletter for at least one article
to be published locally! If you are interested or want more information,

¨ KAPLAN Test Drive – February 8th – 8 am
Come take a free practice test (GRE, GMAT, DAT…) Just call 1-800-KAP-TEST
to register. We also need a few volunteers to help with registration.

¨ Dance Marathon – THIS FRIDAY AND SATURDAY
The event lasts 24 hours, from 8:03pm-8:03pm. Come out and support our
Golden Key dancers and help raise money for East Tennessee Children’s
Hospital!

¨ Tutoring at Green School – Sign up to tutor elementary students any
weekday from 3pm-4pm. This is a wonderful experience and a great resume

¨ African-American Scholars Bowl – February 13th and 14th
This is an event we are doing in conjunction with the Ronald McNair

¨ Helping the Homeless
Beginning at our next meeting (Feb 19) we will be going as a group to the
Salvation Army to serve dinner.  We will be participating in this service
project before every Wednesday night meeting for the rest of the semester.

¨ Elections – February 19th
Get more involved in Golden Key and have a lot of fun! We will be having
officer elections at our next Wednesday night General Membership meeting.
There will be a shadow period with the old officer for approximately one

¨ Valentine’s Day Rose Sale – February 13th and 14th
Sign up to help us sale roses on the UC Plaza from 10-2 on these days.
