For those of you who couldn't make the meetings this week, here is what we
discussed.  Hope to see you at the next one!

¨ Thanks to everyone who participated in MLK Day of Service!

¨ Valentine’s Day Rose Sale – We will be selling chocolate roses on
February 13th & 14th. We need your help to make them! Please bring one of
the following supplies to the next meeting: Floral tape, floral wire, saran
wrap (colored), scotch tape. Also bring markers, stickers, and any other
creative craft supply to make Valentine’s Day tray cards for Children’s
Hospital!

¨ Dance Marathon – The event is February 7-8 from 8:03pm-8:03pm at
Stokley Athletic Center. Join the Golden Key team or come out to support us
as we dance the night (and day) away!

¨ Relay for Life – The event is on April 4th and benefits the
American Cancer Society. It lasts 12 hours. Golden Key will be
participating, so mark your calendars now and sign up to be on the team!

¨ Pop Top Collection – We are collecting can tabs for the Ronald
McDonald House. Bring them with you to any General Membership Meeting to
add to our jug.

¨ Tutoring at Green School – We will begin tutoring at Green Math and
Science Magnet Academy on Jan. 27th. You can sign up to tutor any weekday
that fits with your schedule. We are usually there from 3pm-4pm. A carpool
will be forming on Mondays and Wednesdays if you need a ride. Green School
is about 5 minutes from campus, directions can be found on our website.  If
you are interested in helping to teach a class such as sign language or

¨ Committees – Join a committee and get more involved with Golden
Key! You can put it on your resume and gain some great experience all at
the same time!
1. Public Relations Committee – helps with chalkings for meetings and
events, help to design/build display cases and banners
2. Sophomore Recognition Committee – help to organize and staff our
reception
