Yes, we have meetings this Tuesday and Wednesday (Oct 29 & 30) at 6:30pm in
Hermitage Room and UC 226-227, respectively.

These are going to be fun/service meetings!  We'll be making Happy
Halloween tray cards for the kids in the Children's Hospital.  Bring any
stickers or markers you may have!

Interested in Grad school or taking an admissions test (i.e. MCAT, GMAT,
GRE, etc)?  If so, make sure you come to our meetings this week because
Scott Robertson, Director of Kaplan for Knoxville, will be coming to speak
with us!  Did you know that as a GK member you get $100 off a Kaplan
course?  Come ask any general questions you have...or specific ones!  Scott
is so helpful!

Do you want to make a difference?  Come find out how we plan to make a
difference this week with the homeless.  For details, check out the bottom
of this email!  Please, because we have lots of needs!

Bring your coke tabs to the meeting to help the Ronald McDonald House.

If you're an associate member and you were invited to lifetime membership,
don't forget the deadline is October 29th!

Our Make a Difference Day activities are coming up this week and we need
your help! Please remember to bring canned food items for Second Harvest
Food Bank...our drive ends this week. Also, any over the counter medicine,
such as Tylenol, Sudafed, cough drops/syrup, Neosporin, and especially
WHITE SOCKS are needed for cold season at Volunteer Ministry Center. We are
also providing dinner for about 100 homeless people on Friday and need help
supplying the food! We will be making chili and need the following
ingredients: tomato sauce (canned), red kidney beans (canned), packages of
McCormick® Chili Seasoning, cornbread mix, Fritos/corn chips, grape and
cherry Koolaid. Even if you can't make it to any of the events, simply
bringing an item or two will be equally helpful and greatly appreciated! We
are relying on our membership to make this a success!
