like no other. Read below to learn a little about our 2002 emcees.
David Haley Lauver has for more than 20 years been the lead writer of the
Front Page Follies, a scholarship fundraising roast of Tennessee newsmakers.
David has worked as a corporate speechwriter and communications manager,
university public relations director, U.S. Senate press and legislative
assistant, and newspaper reporter. He is a past president of both PRSA's
Volunteer Chapter and the East Tennessee Society of Professional
Journalists.
A published songwriter whose work has earned awards in several national
songwriting competitions, David also has written more than 500 song
parodies.
Anne M. McKinney is an attorney who concentrates her practice in matters of
taxation, estate planning and probate.
Ms. McKinney has served as Adjunct Associate Professor of Law in Estate
Planning and Wealth Transfer Tax at the University of Tennessee College of
Law, and formerly served as Adjunct Professor in Business Law at the
University of Tennessee Undergraduate School. She has also served as an
instructor for the Law Portion of the Becker CPA Review Course.
In her "spare time," Ms. McKinney is a sought-after speaker and seminar
leader. With her unique blend of practical experience, intelligence, music
and humor, she educates, encourages and entertains audiences nationwide.
I hope to see you at this year's Awards of Excellence. Winners of program
and product awards will be notified by early next week if they have won so
they may plan attendance accordingly. Contact me if you have any questions
