It's time for our February PRSA meeting. Sorry about the delayed notice, but
we've been having trouble with the listserv.
WHAT: February PRSA Meeting
WHEN: Thursday, February 22, 2001, 11:30 a.m.
WHERE: Club LeConte
WHO: Don Ferguson will be our speaker. Don's entertaining
presentation will highlight some of the typical writing errors that
even the most seasoned PR pros make. He will also have available at the
meeting his "Grammar Gremlins" book, which is available
for $20, including tax.
COST: $18 for members or $25 non-members

Other important information:
At the meeting we will also vote on the proposed bylaw changes that you
received in the mail back in December. We'll also share the results of the
recent chapter survey.
We are no longer accepting credit cards as a method of payment. If you have
concerns or would like to make special arrangements, please contact our

About Don Ferguson
Ferguson is a former city editor of The Knoxville News-Sentinel and
previously served as a News-Sentinel and UPI reporter for fifteen years. His
newspaper column "Grammar Gremlins" is published by nine newspapers in four
states. He has presented programs at both state and national meetings in
Virginia, North Carolina, Alabama, Maine, Massachusetts, and Tennessee. He
has taught grammar courses at the University of Tennessee. Ferguson recently
retired as chief deputy clerk of the U.S. District Court in Knoxville.
