Attention: PRSA members: Please inform your support staff and any aspiring
PR
professionals of a unique opportunity to help promote the introduction of a
consumer service
program for Knoxville women through a temporary part-time job with ClubMom.
a NY company
with businesswomen like Meredith Vieira, co-host of the View and Nicola
Godfrey, former editor-
in-chief of Working Mother magazine standing behind it.
ClubMom is launching the marketing phase of their services here in
Knoxville, one of four cities nationwide. We are currently seeking women
(preferably Moms) who would be interested in running registration booths
the weeks of March 19th - April 15th as well as the Women's
Expo, March 16th-18th at the Convention Center. We need two workers per
booth between the hours of Noon and 8 p.m. at various Bi-Lo grocery stores
throughout town and both shopping malls. You will be giving out free
ClubMom mugs and encouraging Moms to sign-up with ClubMom to receive points
when they shop at JCPenny's, Linen's and Things, and Bi-Lo. As points are
accumulated, they can be exchanged for gifts such as Madison Day Spa
services/movie tickets/etc. There is no ClubMom membership fee, so they
can't afford to pass even this initial benefit up!
In addition, you can tell them about a website, www.clubmom.com that is
informational and helpful to Moms and their concerns/issues. Take a Look!
We are paying minimum wage +bonuses when you exceed registration goals.
Scheduling is flexible. For instance, one person may want to work 12-3 p.m.
, then close the booth, and the next person works 5-8 p.m.
ClubMom is prepared to give Moms special consideration for their schedules
!!! Three hour training sessions are scheduled for March 14th-16th.
If you are interested in working with ClubMom, please call Dee Pierce at
671-4210 or
e-mail me and I'll fill you in on the details.
