Save the dates on your calendar for the Southeast District Conference,
which will be Friday, May 5 and Saturday, May 6 in Chattanooga, Tenn.
The conference will kick off Friday for a full day of professional
development and conclude Saturday after a half-day of programs geared
towards chapter development.
Sponsored by Voyager Online, McKee Foods Corp. and Blue Cross/Blue
Shield of Tennessee, the conference will offer sessions on topics such
as branding, crisis management, community partnerships with local media,
legal issues in public relations, chapter programming, and MORE. Look
for conference literature in your mailbox soon.
The Chattanooga Clarion Hotel in downtown Chattanooga will be the site
for the conference. The hotel is within walking distance to many
downtown attractions, including the Tennessee Aquarium. To reserve your
room, please call 423/756-5150 (be sure to mention that you will be with
the Public Relations Society conference).
This year, to make conference registration more convenient, we offer
three ways to register:
-- Mail your registration form included with your conference literature

-- Email your name, address, and phone number to Conference Coordinator

conference and an invoice will be mailed to you.
-- Telephone Karen at 423/698-0297 (ext. 3009) to register. If you get
voicemail, indicate that you are registering for the conference and
leave your name, address and phone number. An invoice will be mailed to
you.
Please note: no matter how you register for the conference, you will
need to make your hotel accommodations separately.
Cost for the conference is $65 if you register on or before April 14.
After that date, you can still register until the day of the conference
for $75. The student rate is $35.
