Dear Students,
I am teaching Society/Spaces of South Asia. In this course we discuss a variety of social, cultural political, demographic, economic issues of the region and the global geopolitics amidst the fast economic growth of this region. Please consider taking this if you have interest in anything South Asian. We also discuss a lot of fun things like Bollywood-Hollywood, arranged marriages, fusion music, foods and cuisines and much more.
It meets the GCI requirement as well as Global Studies and Asian Studies among others. We meet twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays for our in-person lecture.
