Hello Pi Mu Epsilon (PME) student members.
Mark your Calendars ! The 2025 PME National Meeting will be held at the Joint Mathematics Meetings in Seattle, WA, January 8-11, 2025. Below I outline some
of the major highlights of the meeting, but PME speakers must familiarize themselves with all of the processes, policies, and expectations that are listed on PME
website. PME will be organizing student poster sessions, student paper sessions, and is pleased to offer up to $1,200 to defray travel, housing, and subsistence
expenses for eligible PME student speakers. If a chapter is not sending speakers, then one delegate per chapter may apply for up to $600 in reimbursements.
To be eligible for consideration for a PME Undergraduate Travel Grant, applicants must do the following:
Speakers must submit an abstract to the AMS-PME Student Poster Session or to the PME Contributed Sessions on Research by Undergraduates through the
AMS abstract portal no later than Tuesday, September 24, 2024. Complete the application for the travel grant, including abstract number if speaking, no later
than Tuesday, October 15, 2024 (11:59 p.m. ET). Be enrolled as (1) a full-time undergraduate student or (2) a first-year graduate student.
Be a member of PME (with your dues payment received by the PME Secretary-Treasurer) by 10/24/2024

PME Council will again give prizes for outstanding presentations by PME students. See the PME website for eligibility requirements.
Co-presenters can each receive funding. There is no cap on the number of speakers that can receive funding from any one chapter

Create an account or log in.
Select the "PME Contributed Sessions on Research by Undergraduates" or "AMS-PME Student Poster Session" option.
Follow the prompts to submit your abstract.
