The semester is quickly coming to an end. Here are a few reminders.



*************Fall 2014 Graduates*************

If you are a current student veteran or military service member please come by our office and pick up your red, white, and blue cord to wear at the graduation ceremony. These cords are a gift from our office as a way of saying “Thank you for your service to our country”.



************Fall 2014 Charges**************

If you are receiving Chapter 33 (post 9/11) or Chapter 31 (voc rehab) benefits please make sure VA has made payment on your account. Your account balance needs to be paid by December 2nd to avoid late charges and a financial hold. The student is still responsible for payment regardless of whether VA has sent payment or not.


*************Spring 2015 Enrollment*********

If you haven’t done so already please turn in your enrollment request form for spring. Turning the form in early allows for early processing and early payments. The enrollment form is attached.


*************Veterans Day Event on Campus******

UT Knoxville will be participating in the National Day of Remembrance “Roll Call” event this year. Roll Call is an event that is held nationwide at college and universities. Roll Call will begin at 10AM and end at 2PM with a nationwide moment of silence. Our Master of Ceremonies is Ingrid Ruffin, Student Success Librarian for First-Year Programs. Lt. Col. Gary Petree US Army (retired) PhD Student in Higher Education Administration will speak at 1:50.

Please drop by anytime for the event. Light refreshments will be available
