An international  Conference on Metric Geometry and Applications, dedicated to the memory of Professor Jianguo Cao, will be held at the University of Notre Dame  on March 14-17, 2013 in celebration  of his achievements in mathematics.

The conference will bring together experts as well as junior researchers and graduate students in the broad area of metric geometry. This includes but is not limited to comparison geometry, Alexandrov geometry,   applications of metric geometry to geometric analysis   and complex geometry.  The arrival day for the conference is Wednesday, March 13 and the meeting will end at noon, Sunday,  March 17, 2013.
