The 36th meeting of the Texas Geometry and Topology Conference will be held
on October 27-29, 2006 at Rice University. This meeting will focus on
recents results in low-dimensional Topology and related areas.

The Conference is supported by the National Science Foundation and Rice
University. Everyone is welcome. There are no registration fees. However,
please register if you plan to attend so that we can estimate the number of
attendees.

The Texas Geometry and Topology Conference is committed to the strengthening
and enrichment of the mathematics personnel base. We will be able to offer
some support for expenses. To apply for financial aid, please fill out the
registration. Graduate students, junior faculty, women, minorities, and
persons with disabilities are especially encouraged to participate and to
apply for support.
