A conference on 3-dimensional topology and its rôle in mathematics, on
the occasion of Peter Shalen's sixtieth birthday. To be held June
12-15 at CRM in Montréal, Québec. Sponsored by Centre de Recherches
Mathématiques, Université de Montréal and the National Science
Foundation.
PARTICIPANT TRAVEL SUPPORT IS BEING PROVIDED BY NSF AND CRM.
Graduate students and recent graduates are particularly encouraged to

We will begin making travel awards at the end of March.
