Greetings,
(My apologies to those on multiple lists receiving similar information.)
Peer-to-peer networking has been a hot topic among those responsible for
supporting campus residential networks. We would love for there to be
several presentations at the sixth annual ResNet Symposium dealing with
P2P issues.
Stanford University is hosting the conference June 22-26, 2001. The
Symposium provides a terrific opportunity to talk with colleagues about
all facets of our campus residential networking programs.
We are looking for presenters to talk about the p2p phenomenon from any
number of angles. Possible topics could include the more technical
issues of bandwidth management or cost models, policy issues of whether
to attempt to ban or to celebrate p2p applications, or the social issues
of how p2p tools can help create social or learning communities.
To find out more about the conference and to submit a proposal, check
out the conference web site:

The deadline for proposals is March 2, 2001, so submit your ideas soon!
Best regards,
Stan North Martin
